. This is the village of Muppalla Mandal. The village has a history of 200 years. The village has achieved 100% literacy. The main crop is paddy. Its population is 1400. It has an elementary school and St. Antony's Church and Hostel for elementary boys and girls. It has good water facility and transportation facility. Mainly the production of paddy and other crops like Chillies, cotton, Subhaabul etc. crops put the village economically strong. There is Nagarjuna Sagar Right canal branch beside the village which helps the people to yield the crops. Everybody in this village are Roman Catholics and Kammas as religion and caste respectively. The present President of the village is Pudota Komala Rani.
