In May 2009 he signed on as a 1st year scholar with Blackpool's youth department. Before that he had been at the Centre of Excellence for four months, and had scored in every game he played at both under-16 and under-17 levels.
He is currently a second year scholar in the youth team.
On 24 August 2010, whilst still a second year youth scholar, he made his first team debut in the second round of the 2010–11
