The Wyre plays mainly adult contemporary music to a core audience of 25-54 year olds, "Today's Music and Classic Hits", with a mixture of music from the last few decades and 'today's music'.

Other content includes national and local news, travel bulletins throughout the week until 6pm (5pm weekends), local quizzes, on air games, competitions, local 'Lost & Found' bulletins, 'Community Noticeboard' with local events and 'Job Search' bulletins with companies looking for employees.
