Weekday from 6 is the Neil Bentley Breakfast Show with the latest on Shropshire's roads every fifteen minutes. Tom Campbell presents the Daytime Show from 11 and Pete Baker presents The More Music Drive Home from 3pm. Phil Shieber, Stuart Hickman and Dani Wozencroft make up the weekend daytime schedule with music shows such as "Great Music & More" and "Guilty Pleasures" during the evening.

Other content includes national and local news, travel bulletins throughout the week until 6pm (5pm weekends), local quizzes, on air games, competitions, local 'Lost & Found' bulletins, 'Community Noticeboard' with local events and 'Job Search' bulletins.

It was announced on 30th November 2011 that The Severn and it's sister station The Wyre are to cease broadcasting at the end of December 2011. A short statement said that the company has found it hard to trade profitably in the challenging economic conditions.
