. It is an independent bookstore with strong specialities in crime fiction, especially British mystery and noir, history, and literature of the American Southwest. Located in Old Town Scottsdale's Art District, it moved to its present location in 1999. The store is well known for its heavy schedule of author events and for Autographed First Editions and does business nationally and internationally. In 1997 Peters and her husband Robert Rosenwald founded Poisoned Pen Press
