Due to financial reasons in July 2002 the journal discontinued its hard copy print version and now only publishes as an online internet journal. Based in Christchurch

, the journal publishes editorials, original articles, case reports, viewpoint, and letters. The full text of articles less than 6 months old is available only to subscribers. Access is free to articles older than 6 months and abstracts.
