Some sources state there was a ninth episode that aired on January 27, 1984 and featured Teri Garr as a guest. However, TV Guide indicated that "TV Comedy's Funniest Moments" was to be aired in the 10:00pm time slot on NBC.

The TV Guide entry for March 23, 1984 indicates only that The Pretenders are the musical guest, so it is possible that this episode aired instead on March 23. It is likely that this episode did air at some point because there is a scene-by-scene description on the SCTV website.
