The Electric Revelators were formed in Swansea, South Wales in 2004.
Since 2011 have added Jerry Donahue
to the line - up
Originally called The Revelators added Electric to the name in 2009 toured with The Animals
and David Honeyboy Edwards
in 2009.
They are best known for their electric set of Chicago, Texas and British Blues (with an indie twist) and sourcing some notable guitarists and singers including teaming up in 2011 with Jerry Donahue
and Colin Goldring of Gnidrolog
& The Pork Dukes 2010
Their acoustic set is a mix of original and standard delta tunes. They have performed at many UK (band) & European Festivals (solo)
Swansea. The show attracted a sell out crowd (1200), with The First Minister for Wales Rhodri Morgan
in attendance. The Official brochure sets out the cast with some of the leading UK and world jazz and blues musicians including Tony Kofi

and Byron Wallen - The Revelators were given headline billing in the official cast list. The show was produced/directed by Gbubemi Amas

Back in the 1980s & 90's Gordon Wride represented Wales in Judo and is a 1st Dan black belt. One notable achievement was beating the -78K Judo UK No 1 in Cardiff 1992. Gordon also played rugby for Dunvant
and Llandovery
- sporting career ended in 1999.

and Ray Minninett, there are at least two reviews in Modern Guitars Magazine on Gordon Wride - last one with Chris Jagger
