Background
In early 2009, Jelena announced the plans for the release of a greatest hits album by July. She also added that she had plans to go to the studio and record new material for the album. In early July, Jelena appeared in AMI G Show, presenting the lead single from "The Diamond Collection", having the world premier of the album and single as well. It was the re-release of her song "Zamena za ljubav" from her 1999 album Gili, GiliGili, Gili
