Its coverage gained national significance in light of the 2006 lacrosse team scandal at Duke, and it has been widely lauded for having balanced coverage, even as most national publications jumped to conclusions. The current editor of The Chronicle is senior Sanette Tanaka. She is currently majoring in history and public policy.
