. It is 4 stories tall. It was built in the 1920's.
The building has received some literary fame, being featured prominently in the 2002 mystery novel The Chandler Apartments by Owen Hill, who wrote the book while living there.
It is also the former residence of Jonathan Lethem
, a novelist and MacArthur Fellowship recipient.
It is the current residence of Tom Toro, New Yorker cartoonist.
