The Outlets at Orange is an open-air shopping mall
developed by The Mills Corporation
and now owned jointly by The Mills, A Simon Company,(Simon Property Group
), Faralon Capital and KanAm, in Orange, California
, a few miles southeast of Disneyland near the heart of the Orange Crush interchange

It is popular with adults for its higher end stores, including Burke Williams Day Spa, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Sak's Fifth Avenue OFF 5th, Nike Factory Store, Ann Taylor Factory Store, Frederick's of Hollywood and Borders Books (closed). Outlets at Orange is popular among teenagers for its more youthful offerings including Nike

Prior to 1998, the site was home to an enclosed mall called The City Shopping Center, featuring anchor stores May Company California
and JC Penney, anchoring The City edge city
complex. Mills purchased the site, originally considering conversion to an outlet mall named "CityMills," but instead built an outdoor lifestyle center after seeing the success of the Irvine Spectrum. The center's old slogan was The Block at Orange... It Ain't Square.
It was The Mills Corporation's first outdoor mall not to have the "Mills" name.

Three of The Outlets' largest tenants closed at the end of 2008 or in early 2009. Virgin Megastore, Koji's Sushi and Shabu Shabu and Ron Jon Surf Shop left the center due to expiring lease agreements, and Steve & Barry's closed following its company-wide liquidation. As of November 2009, the anchors have been replaced with the Neiman Marcus Last Call store, the Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse, H&M and The Warehouse Furniture Outlet.
The Outlets at Orange has become a hybrid outlet mall with both outlet, factory, value and full priced offerings, coupled with entertainment and dining. Some of the outlet stores include Hollister, Gymboree, Children's Place and the Converse Outlet. There is currently construction for a future Nordstrom Rack that will be opening in 2012.
