In the period December 2010-June 2011, it had an average daily circulation of 24,949. In 2010, the average issue was read by 67,656 people.
Newsquest has launched Argus Lite, a free weekly edition for distribution to commuters at some Sussex railway stations to compete with free daily newspapers from London, notably Metro
. It also publishes free weeklies, including the Brighton and Hove Leader, the Mid Sussex Leader, the Uckfield Leader and the South Coast Leader for door-to-door delivery to homes.
