The Adsetts Partnership
Encyclopedia
The Adsetts Partnership is a not for profit company which provides collaboration opportunities for a range of voluntary sector organisations delivering services to those with disabilities or experiencing disadvantage. Primarily working in Yorkshire, Humberside and Greater Manchester the member organisations within TAP are all established organisations, delivering services directly. Each organisation works in a different specialism from other members or has a different geographical spread.
TAP members collaborate to bid for larger contracts whilst ensuring that economies of scale, financial clout, geographical spread and diversity of provision still apply. Members are from a range of sectors - social care, health care, education, employment, BME.
Under the TAP model, members retain their independence but work with a group holding company, which will be registered as a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee.
The Group has a combined turnover in excess of £80m employing 2000 people and working with 40,000 users of services on the front line.
