The Abbey Foundation is an American non-profit organization
dedicated to fighting the epidemic of addiction
in the United States. It was set up in 2009 in Bettendorf, Iowa
and operates next to The Abbey Center
(an in-patient addiction treatment clinic).
. It was originally set up by Joseph L. Lemon, Jr. and as of August 2009 employs three other people - Punit Sharma, Paul Gleason and Tom Zacharski. They are all outreach coordinators.
The Abbey Foundation has been set up in order to combat the epidemic of addiction in the United States.
We address the spreading disease through our active engagement in the three critical areas, which we call the "Three Pillars".
