Two famous temples are located in Thammampatti. One is the Kashi Vishwanathar Aalayam, where the river Swetha flows as like, Ganges flow in Varanasi. In this temple the Aavudayar is in square shape which is very rare to find elsewhere. History says that, Pancha Pandavas visited Thammampatty (Ancient name - Tharumanagar) and had holy water in river Swetha. After about five generations, this temple underwent Kumbhabhishekam. Second is Sri Ukra Khadali Narasimha Swamy temple, which is around 600 years old. This temple underwent kumbhabhishekam in 2008. There is also a mountain with temples of great three religions- Lord Murugan, a Church and a Mosque situated together symbolizing the unity of people from different religions.
