began to flourish in the 1980s with bands like Asanee-Wasan
and Micro. Later, Thai rock was characterized by bands influenced by rock bands from overseas in the USA and the UK.

The Richman Toy launched the single "Aod Aod (อ๊อด อ๊อด)" with its music video a parody of television programs in the 1960s which was about health. In the late 2000s Jui Juis
launched the single "Lesson 1 (บทที่ 1)". It is a folk rock song which is popular among young teenagers.
