The Texas Wrestling Academy (formerly known as The Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy) is a professional wrestling
training school that was operated by Shawn Michaels
and Rudy Boy Gonzalez (who is the sole operator of the school now). The school has produced many well-known wrestlers such as Brian Kendrick

opened the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy in 1999 with Paul Diamond, Rudy Boy Gonzalez, and Jose Lothario
. They also started a wrestling promotion to go along with the school called the Texas Wrestling Alliance (TWA).
In 2001 in San Antonio, Texas

was found passed out from dehydration at a TWA show. A few months later, Rudy Gonzalez became the sole operator of the company due to Shawn Michaels' new contract with WWE.
