She was discovered by Hooper and producer, Henkle, after seeing an article about her in the local newspaper. After auditioning, Teri was chosen for the part. Hooper and Henkle offered her the role of "Pam" in their film project.

Following the arduous film shoot, Teri continued acting in Regional Theater in Texas, and the mid west. In The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (directed by Tobe Hooper

At Monster Mania Horror Convention in 2008, in Cherry Hill, N.J., Teri made a Personal Appearance, as "Pam", the 'girl on the meat hook', in a cast reunion, her first appearance another first, in September 2008, the new 4 set Hi-Def DVD release of the movie, contains an interview with her about the making and release of the film. On 6 August 2009 she visit as special guest the Carnival of Darkness.
