 and socket system. It uses a large plug (about 4cm x 4cm) with four flat metal pins, three of the pins having the same orientation and the fourth pin being rotated 90 degrees to make it impossible to plug in the wrong orientation.

Most newer installations use an RJ11 jack and plug instead of Telebrás.
