Biography

On June 24, 1996 Nyteka Lashawn Brandon, better known to the world as Tekaboo was born in Augusta, GA. She first attended John M. Tutt Middle School but would soon need her own private tutor due to her bright personality and booming career! With such a heavy hip-hop presence right in her own backyard, it was only a matter of time before Nyteka herself became enamored by hip hop and the movement beginning around her. Nyteka grew up having a passion for dance and music and a love for entertaining. At age six she began dancing, writing and acting. The catchy stage name, Tekaboo, was acquired early in her career while dancing and performing with another Georgia artist by the name of Yung Ca$h.

After six months of trying out her talent of writing and rapping Tekaboo had completed her first single, "Monkey Juice" and was tearing up the airways of her hometown Augusta, GA and surronding areas. With other hot tracks "Gwap Do," "Still Flowing," and "Pump Up the Party"," the bright teen star had taken off and a path to become the next teen sensation. Tekaboo may be small in size but powerful and mighty in her performance and delivery. Having opened for Award winning artist like Soulja Boy, Young Dro, Lil Chuckee, Bow Wow, Gucci Mane and several others in the beginning of her career, she has already begun to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry.

Tekaboo enjoys performing and perfecting her craft but always makes time for her studies and is committed to continuing and completing her education. It is her personal goal to remain on the honor roll while having a number one hit single on the music charts. Inspired by other Georgia entertainers like Ciara and Keisha Knight Pulliam, Tekaboo is setting her career heights high, despirt her personal fear of hights. The sky is the limit for this 13 yr old triple threat.

Presently, Tekaboo is working on creating her own clothing line, perfecting her writing skills and preparing to launch a career in the entertainment industry. She is signed to Push Management out of Atlanta,GA and is working on her first album in the upcoming year. Her energy and determination are unparallel to any other entertainer, her age in the industry today. Her music is for everyone and her mission is to become a young inspiraton to today's youth.
