The Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences "TITS" , founded in 1943, offers engineering programs and postgraduate programs.
The institute provides lectures by in-house and visiting faculty, expert lectures, discussions, seminars, project assignments and visits to industries and project sites.
established the institute in 1943 under the auspices of the Birla Education Trust.
Its administration vests in the TITS College Managing Committee which is constituted according to the constitution prescribed by the All India Council for Technical Education. The institute has attached to it a textile mill for training the students under working conditions and for conducting research. This association of a textile mill with an institute in textile technology is unique in India and not frequent even in the Western world. This institute is among those few institutes (the others being the National Institutes of Technology
(NITs
) and Indian Institute of Technology) in India that offer degrees in technology (B. Tech. with Honours) at the undergraduate level as opposed to the B.E. (Bachelor in Engineering).
With the starting of M.Tech in Fashion and Apparel Engineering, the institute has become first in the country offering a Masters in the fashion field.

Admission to the two-year MBA degree course is made on the basis of merit of MAT scores conducted by AIMA.
Admission will be made through 'On-Line Off Campus' counseling under the authority of Haryana State Counseling Board, Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana Chandigarh, for which TITS Bhiwani is one of the participating institutes.
Hostel has an alumni home for pass-out students, VIP guest house and guest house facility for guests and parents of students. The hostel has sports facilities for students, with indoor and outdoor games such as cricket, hockey, volleyball, basketball, football, and lawn tennis, indoors have badminton, table tennis, carom and chess.
There are several technical societies in the college that work to improve the technical skills of the students. They conduct seminars, workshops, quiz and many other activities which help students to develop a technical aptitude. Major technical societies of the college are TIT&S Computer Society, Voyagers, Maverick and Electronika.
Dramatics Society
The society headed by Dramatic Secretaries organizes all the cultural events that take place in the college such as Freshers Day, Farewell, Alumni Meet and Teacher's Day.
Recreational Society
The society circulates newspapers, magazines and other reading matter; and screens movies and educational documentaries.
Orators'
This society has been constituted with the intention to improve the communication skills of the students keeping in mind the importance communication skills have in today's world. Various activities are organized from time to time such as Extempore, Group Discussions, Debates and Declamations.
Students Council
The council is responsible for the management of student activities and related affairs. At the top there are Chief Prefect, Chief Captain, Social Secretary, then Heads of all the societies and the game Captains.
Editorial Board
The Editorial Board brings out the campus newsletter and the annual college magazine 'Kriti' and also organizes events which help students in exploring their creative side.

Admissions
Admission to the four-year B.Tech course is made on the basis of merit of AIEEE exam conducted by CBSE with an intake of 320 students. M.Tech. and M.B.A. courses have an intake of 58 students.Admission to the two-year MBA degree course is made on the basis of merit of MAT scores conducted by AIMA.
Admission will be made through 'On-Line Off Campus' counseling under the authority of Haryana State Counseling Board, Directorate of Technical Education, Haryana Chandigarh, for which TITS Bhiwani is one of the participating institutes.
Location
The institute is located in Birla Colony, opposite Bhiwani railway station. Bhiwani town in Haryana has just over half a million people and lies on the broad gauge railway line connecting Rewari, Bhatinda, Hisar, Jaipur, Rohtak, Delhi and Chandigarh. It is connected by direct bus service to Delhi and all major towns of Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.Housing
There are four hostels for boys and one hostel for girls, having a total of 500 single-seated rooms with a dining hall and a cafeteria.
