After graduating from Duke with honors, he played professional basketball both in the NBA and Europe. After retiring from basketball, Domzalski applied and was accepted by numerous top medical schools including Harvard before ultimately deciding to return to his alma mater. He graduated from Duke University School of Medicine in 2009. Taymon is currently completing a Radiology residency at the University of Southern California.
