History

Tatsumi was founded on August 25, 1970, as a designer and manufacturer of electronics devices, including computer-related technologies. Back then, they were known as "Tazmi".

In August 1983, Tatsumi entered the video game developing business and created their first video game, a racing game titled TX-1

, which became the first multi-screen arcade game. They later created a few more racing games and shooting games, as well as a beat 'em up

In 1997, Tatsumi created a palm-reading machine. In 1998, Tatsumi created an original trading card machine and developed the Lovegety STATION. Since 2000, Tatsumi have focused on the production of sticker-printing and novelty machines.
