Tanvi Vyas won the Miss India Earth
title in 2008. It was first won by Harshita Saxena
who eventually surrendered her title to Ms. Tanvi due to the violation of a contract signed with Gladrags.
She later competed in the Miss Earth
competition, but she did not make it to the semi-finals.
Vyas was born on 30 September 1985 in Mehlol, a village near Godhra
, Gujarat, and grew up in the Gujarati city of Vadodara
. At the time of the Miss India pagaent, Vyas was studying graphic design at M.S. University.
She has also acted in Eppadi Manasukkul Vandhai ("How You Came Into My Heart"), a South Indian film
