After graduating in 2002, Walle relocated to Lawrence, Kansas

 for three years. During this time, in the summer of 2004, Tanner recorded his first full-length album, It Was, with producer/engineer Robert Rebeck at Chapman Studios in Kansas City. It Was was not immediately successful, but has had continuous sales in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

In the spring of 2005, Walle began writing and recording his second record The Future of Tape with DJNOTADJ member Jerett Fulton. Fulton's recording studio Mixtape Soundlab hosted their collaborative efforts until the spring of 2007 when they released the album on Mixtape Meditation Records. Their CD release was held at the Granada Theater

In the summer of 2007, Tanner again relocated to New York City

 and now resides in Brooklyn. In Winter 2010, Tanner held a Kickstarter

campaign to raise funds to release his third studio album. The project, tentatively titled "Shelf Life," is set for release in early 2012.
