As part of the NZ television show, Intrepid Journeys, Series 7 saw Tamati Coffey sent to Oman, on the Arabian Peninsula for 3 weeks. It was screened on Jan 20th, 2011 on TV One. Whilst there he engaged in mountain climbing, turtle nesting, dhow fishing cruises, souk shopping and much more.
