. At the age of eight, Jaber had begun formal tap, jazz and ballet lessons. She later auditioned for the "Newtown Performing Arts High School" in which she got in, studying dance and drama. At the age of fourteen, Jaber represented Australia in the "America Song and Dance Championships" and won first prize. She also won a scholarship to the "Australian Institute of Music for years 11 and 12, completing a Diploma for Music, at the same time also completing her HSC.
