 city. It is accessible from Sahakar nagar area through the road by Shivaji Maratha College. One cannot imagine, just you cross the Shivaji Maratha College, there starts a 1–2 km beautiful ghat, at some places there are sharp turns. One reaches the Taljai Mata temple and then through the gate into the Taljai forest. Though it is very close to the city, but still it seems so untouched by the outside world, because inside the gate vehicles are not allowed. There are 3 trails at the entrance which branch into more trails inside the jungle. The jungle is full of tall trees, shrubs and filled with the chirping of birds, squirrels and peacocks. The land is full of serenity. People come here for morning walk to breathe fresh air and get completely energized for the day. Some people are planting saplings and are thus helping in maintaining the green belt.
