 company founded by Maryanne Shearer and then business partner Jan O’Connor in 1996. The first shop was opened on Brunswick St, Fitzroy, Melbourne (Australia).

T2 currently operates retail stores in Australia with a web store and wholesale business that trade internationally. Each and every one of the 23 retail store hosts daily tea tastings, and there’s a table filled with all the teas to smell and compare the different ingredients and aromas. There are beautifully preened stacks of adorable accessories, ‘how do you brew’ walls with practical tips for exemplary brews and notice boards divulging the dearest drops and latest news from the friendly team ready to guide you on your journey.

Teas are sold in 50g or 100g boxes, 250g foil bags, or 250g black tins. Combinations of teas are sold in multi-packs, either called "stacks" (three types of tea), "nines" (nine types of tea), or "sixteens" (sixteen types of tea).



T2 is renowned for its excellent quality with special mention often extended in particular to its Chai blend.
