Symphony Services International

Formerly Symphony Services Australia Limited (known as Symphony Australia), Symphony Services International has been orchestrating excellence for many years.

Supporting the ABC Symphony Australia Young Performers Awards and setting international benchmarks with the Conductor Development Program, they also hold the Southern Hemisphere's largest classical print music library, offer over 3500 program notes and take the headache out of tour management.

Symphony Services International provides centralised services to its members, namely the six Australian state symphony orchestras. These services include the Symphony Services Music Library, the Artist Development program, publications/program note editing and international artists’ contracts, visas, travel and accommodation. Some of these services are also provided to other orchestras and individuals on a user-pays basis.

As of August 2010 Symphony Services International introduced other forms of membership. They now offer the chance to be a subscriber and an associate (associate by invitation only).

Through Symphony Services International's alliance with the ABC, performances with these orchestras may be broadcast live on ABC Classic FM

Goodear Acoustic Shield

Developed to help protect the hearing of orchestral musicians. It is used by professional, youth and community orchestras, schools and bands around the world.

It has a padded headpiece, a robust tripod stand and is height adjustable. The design provides clear forward and sideways sight-lines while ensuring maximum noise-reduction.

Goodear Editions

The publishing arm of Symphony Services International, offers new performance materials of standard orchestral repertoire for purchase and hire.
