SIG run a two year Master's Degree Course in Geoinformatics, which is recognised by AICTE. It is a constituent of Symbiosis International University which is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), India

SIG has maintained a 100% record for the first three batches, with the placements completed in November 2007.
