champion. Just like other Thai boxers, Suriyan started his career as a Muay Thai boxer since he was very young (around 7 years old). He turned to fight in professional boxing since he was 16 years old. Early in his career, he traveled around South East Asia and Asia to fight aboard with older and bigger opponents. He had shown his talent through impressive performances in many of his fights aboard, but, unfortunately, he could not win all of those controversial fights. Later on, he joined Nakornloung Boxing Promotion under Mr.Suchart Pisitwuttinan, who has been creating two WBC world champions (Veerapol Nakornloung and Sirimongkol Singmanasak). After that, his performance skyrocketed. His memorable fights include winning the current WBA interim superflyweight Champion, Tepparith Singwangcha, losing a controversial WBC flyweight title bout to the legendary Pongsaklek Wongkamchan by one marginal point, and dethroning the Mexican Tomas Rojas to captured WBC superflyweight title with a masterful performance.
