Supraśl ' is a town in north-eastern Poland
. It is the home of the Supraśl Lavra, one of only six Eastern Orthodox monasteries for males in Poland
. Situated in the Podlaskie Voivodeship
(since 1999), previously in Białystok Voivodeship (1975-1998) (1975-1998). It is located in Białystok County, about 15 km northeast of Białystok. It is the seat of the Gmina of Supraśl
. Its population numbers 4,526 (2004).
