The Super Fours are a women's cricket competition in England

The England selectors choose 48 leading players and put them into four teams. This was done to increase the standard of competition and make it closer to that of international standards so that players could adjust to international cricket more easily if and when they were selected, as there are many more teams in the Women's County Championship

The teams were named the Super Strikers, the Braves, the V Team and Knight Riders, but were renamed in 2006 to the Sapphires, Diamonds, Rubies and Emeralds.

In 2008, overseas players were selected for the first time, and Alex Blackwell
