Sue Scott (sociologist)

Sue Scott is a British sociologist, Professor of Sociology at Glasgow Caledonian University
and currently also serving as the university's Pro Vice-Chancellor. She served as President of the British Sociological Association
from 2007 to 2009. Her research focuses on gender and sexuality and risk.
She has previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Keele University
. She has been a member of the ESRC Research Grants Board and is chair of the steering group for the ESRC’s International Benchmarking of Sociology.
