Studiocat is a Toronto-based company that specializes in creating original music for television, film and web. Their work has been featured on CSI, Village on a Diet, The Bridge, Opening Soon, Opening Soon: By Design, The Fix, Stuck, Extreme Clergy, and commercials for MGD, Cadillac, and Tim Hortons. They were nominated for a 2010 Gemini Award for their work on the television series "The Cupcake Girls."

 and Adam White, engineer and composer, have been producing original music under the moniker Studiocat since 2004. In 2007, Adam and Jamie began collaborating extensively with composer and vocalist David Wall.

Jamie is also keyboardist in the group The New Deal, a popular group that has performed thousands of concerts across the continent. tND toured as part of Moby’s Area:One festival and shared the stage with Herbie Hancock and the Roots. They showcased at Miami’s Winter Music Conference, New York’s CMJ, New Orleans Jazz Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, and the Detroit Electronic Music Festival. The New Deal's live and studio albums have been released worldwide.

Jamie was formerly the keyboardist for the Toronto fusion group, One Step Beyond.

Adam White is a graduate of the University of Guelph and the Harris Institute for the Arts. After his studies he was hired by Sound and Light Studios, where he engineered recordings for The New Deal, and became friends with Jamie. He was part of the production team for The New Deal releases Gone Gone Gone and Please Be Seated.
