Studio-X is a Hard Dance
trio formed in Adelaide at the end of 2008. The trio consists of producers Project 2, Cheeky B & Zaeda. Studio-X rapidly became one of the most sought-after remixers in the electro-industrial scene with a massive list of mixes made for some of the biggest names in underground electronic music today.
Studio-X have built a formidable reputation in their hometown sharing stages with Shiv-r and Combichrist
and D-Block & S-te-Fan. They have been keeping the Adelaide rave scene alive with their popular night club event 'Puls8'. Studio-X are also on the bill for Defqon 1 Australia for 2011.
Studio-X have released their debut album Neo Futurism under their labels Alfa Matrix
and Death Watch Asia, which includes exclusive remixes from DJ Proteus
and LAB-4.
Main Producer Lawrie Masson is a published author and has released very successful book entitled "The Studio-X Guide to Producing Electronic Music". Zaeda and P2 also run the successful Adelaide business, CMAP(Computer Music and Audio Production Training Australia).
