Trivia

(From the band's site)
  • The title track was the first of several new songs the band had written for the album in the gap between tours. "No One Wins the War" was also considered for the first single off the album. The version of the song that appears on the single was actually recorded two weeks before the band started making their album. There had been delays in delivery of the microphones originally bought for the studio to record with, but release deadlines for the single had to be met so in the time they had they recorded the title track and b-side Doll Fin with the mics already present and spent the next week making it sound as good as possible.

  • The band wanted 'What's good for me', an acoustic track with just vocals and guitar to be included as the second b-side, but the label disagreed and they instead opted for the live version of Scared Of The Police that appeared instead.
