They went 19-7 in their first season of existence. The league folded on June 20, with them leading in the standings. No team known as the Stroudsburg Poconos would play again until 1946.

Their 1949 team is considered one of the top 100 minor league teams in the history of baseball. They went 101-36 that year.

Following the 1950 season, the North Atlantic League folded and the Stroudsburg Poconos did as well.
