Strashimira Filipova (born August 18, 1985) is Bulgarian volleyball
player. She represented the Bulgaria national team
at the 2005 Women’s European Volleyball Championship
, which marked her debut for the national side.
Her youth years were spent with CSKA Sofia and she played for their senior team (2001-2003, 2004-2005). She has also donned the colours of the Slavia Sofia volleyball team (2003-2004).
Filipova initially focused on the high jump
