Storage Hunters

Storage Hunters is an American television series that premiered on June 21, 2011, on TruTV. This new series takes viewers into the world of public auction storage sales. When someone’s possessions are seized for lack of payment, the items will get auctioned off to the highest bidder. But for the folks putting up their money to buy the stuff, it’s always a gamble. A winning bid can result in items worth thousands of dollars or a collection of worthless junk. When there’s big money on the line, it’s every buyer for himself.

The pilot was the first of its kind and began filming in April 2010 before any other networks had ordered the current showlists airing according to close sources of the show, prior to the huge TV boom of Storage Auction shows, but unfortunately aired late due to scheduling difficulties. The pilot was aired on January 18, 2011. The series currently averages 1.78 million viewers on TruTv.
The characters on Storage Hunters are genuine buyers found at local auctions and handpicked by TruTv. The main characters are known as the best in the business, Jesse McClure currently owns and operates one the largest antique malls in the Santa Clarita Valley area, Brandon and Lori Bernier currently retain their leadership of being the best in the business.
