Stewart Jump was an English
professional footballer in the 1970s. Chosen as the MVP
of the 1975 Soccer Bowl
as an apprentice. He became a professional in July 1969. In December 1973, Stoke City transferred him to Crystal Palace F.C.
for £70,000. Crystal Palace loaned him to Fulham F.C.
in 1976, then to the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the North American Soccer League
for the 1975, 1976 and 1977 summer seasons. In 1978, the Houston Hurricane
of the NASL purchased Jump's contract from Crystal Palace. He played two seasons for the Hurricane. He then played for several Major Indoor Soccer League teams as well as the Minnesota Kicks
. Jump currently lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota
