Steve Hughes Is a London based session drummer. Born December 14, 1975 in Middlesex UK. Steve has been playing drums since the age of 13 and was introduced to drumming by his father, who was also a drummer playing in jazz big bands in the 1940s. Steve began playing and recording with many groups throughout the 1990s including stints with The Enid, Kino and Whimwise, and has toured extensively especially in the UK in various other progressive rock, jazz, country and function bands. After a period of disillusionment with the music business around 2003, Steve decided to retreat away from drumming a few years and focus on other projects including writing and singing. Steve has since made a return to drumming, and is now gigging regularly as a session drummer.
