In 2007, he resigned his diplomatic duties and became the director of a series of companies involved in natural resources and renewable energy, including Carbon Mining plc (2007-2008), Delta Pacific Mining plc (2007-2008) and Quantum Resources Ltd (2009-present). Currently, he is the Managing Director of Greater Mekong Resources Co. Ltd, a Corporate Advisor to Elemental Energy Technologies Ltd, and the Business Development Director of Blu Wind Asia.
