football goalkeeper.

. After one year with the amateur club FC Mahndorf he was transferred to Stuttgarter Kickers
in 1989. In 1991 Brasas' team was promoted to Bundesliga. Here, however, he was replaced by Claus Reitmaier
after eight fixtures. In 1992, Brasas was transferred to 1. FC Saarbrücken
. After only one season, he returned to Stuttgart
. In 1995, Brasas moved to SV Meppen
. In his first season he was booked four times and sent off once. Unforgettable remains his only field goal, which he scored in 1995/96. His first and only title is the DFB Cup which Brasas won in 1999 with Werder Bremen. In 2002 Brasas played in Cyprus
for the former champion Omonia Nicosia

The last two years of his career he spent at SpVgg Unterhaching
