Satyanath said it was shocking that no one from the sets of 'Shikar' came to attend the funeral and did not even call the actor's family.Meanwhile, reports said the actor was omitted from the film 'Shikar' since he was not a member of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA).
Kerala Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said Police have been ordered to probe the death of Sreenath.

Death
Sreenath was found dead in a hotel room in Kothamangalam in Kerala on April 23, 2010. Police have not ruled out the possibility of suicide as his wrist was found slashed. He had been in Kothamangalam for the shooting of Malayalam film "Shikar" starring MohanlalMohanlal
