Athletics
Spanish Springs High School is well known for both their softball and rifle teams. Both teams are nationally-ranked. The softball team won the 4A state championship in 2007 and 2008. The Cougars wrestling team went undefeated and won the state championship in 2009. The men's golf team also demonstrated success by winning the 4A State Championship in 2007 and 2009, along with the 4A Regional Championship in 2007 and 2008. 2010 5-0 then lost to mcqueen high school. Justin Farmer is still the only soccer goalie for Spanish Springs to shut out two Number 1 teams in the 2007 season.JROTC
