SoundStation is a website for young people in the UK who are interested in making music. It is operated by Youth Music, a UK-wide charity set up in 1999 to provide high quality and diverse music-making opportunities for 0 – 18 year olds.


SoundStation aims to help young people learn more about music, share musical experiences, get career advice and hear the latest about Youth Music projects and initiatives in their area. Covering all genres and styles of music

Users can check the Local Events section to find Youth Music projects in their area, play interactive music games, test their knowledge on the monthly music quiz and leave messages on the Bulletin Board.

The SoundStation E-newsletter is sent out monthly and alerts subscribers to updates on the site. The newsletter is also used to promote initiatives and competitions targeted at under 18s.
