Kalyana Mantapa inside the temple has interesting carvings on the pillars. It has European,Chinese and possibly Thai carvings. Top of the Kalyana Mantapa is built in Chinese style. This shows the significance of trade relations and the importance of trade from the King's perspective. This is
worth noticing because the carvings are inside the temple premises unlike any other temple.
